Forever Between - solo

On December 18th 2020 I went to record some solo tunes in St John the Devine, a beautiful church in Camberwell. Filmed by Jon Spaull, this was an fantastic chance to do my first 'gig' since march 2020, although sadly without an audience!

Here are a few of the tunes we recorded, I hope you like them.

They are all on YouTube, please follow link below to see them

Forever Between

"mellow, warm-toned gracefully circuitous long-lined themes"

"The spacey, slowly whispered theme of 'Siya' evokes everything from sunbaked deserts to snowscapes"

I’m pleased to announce my new album Forever Between is out from today, July 2020, on Bandcamp, Apple Music, iTunes and the rest.

It’s a project I’ve been working on for a while, hence the name …and is a mixture of solo trumpet and electronics alongside quintet tunes.

“Drawing on Jazz, world sounds, experiments with electronics, looping and sampling, they paint pictures of travels and adventures in sound”

Beautiful playing from Attab Haddad (Oud), Richard Bolton (Guitar), Thad Kelly (bass) and Ant Romero (hand drums). Mixed by the amazing Alex Bonney and mastered by Peter Beckman.

Please check it out!
